The Montegrappa script insignia is engraved onto the clips of our Contemporary collection and the caps or cap bands of Classic silhouettes, always in close adjacency to the denomination of Italian origin and metallurgical hallmarks. It also features prominently on the nibs of our fountain pens, often in conjunction with the Montegrappa Filigree – a pattern that references the octagonal profile of the first luxury pen ever produced in Bassano del Grappa (Reminiscence, 1915).
Though designed with function in mind, the form of our Sphero pocket clips has made them hallmarks in their own right. Created for comfortable stowing, their profile mimics the tip of every writing instrument, and the magical interaction between ink and precision-engineered metal.
